after 2 months use
This was a gift from my mother. After using it occasionally for 2 months, this ring formed. I noticed it getting worse though I clean it and follow the instructions. It's a completely useless product now. All food sticks to the ring, even if you cook in olive oil, etc. The food sticks like nothing I've seen before. I am so disappointed in this product & I will not purchase any Oyster products in the future.

The DuraCeramic is not what we expected!
We purchased one of these from Walmart just over a year ago, it was great at first. So easy to clean and such even heating. However over time a burned ring where the element is has appeared. This area is no longer non-stick and things burn in that area, today we decided we can no longer use this item as it is not O.K. any more. I never expected this as the DuraCeramic coating is supposed to last four times longer than traditional non-stick coatings. I sent Oster a message on their website under contact us, so lets see what they will do to make this better?

This is NOT a non-stick skillet!
We purchased this at Walmart recently and it is definitely not a non-stick skillet! Each time we use it, the food sticks and burns! I am frustrated this has happened since day one! I would not recommend wasting your money on this product!

5 star skillet
I give it a five star because this skillet is so helpful, which solved our breakfast issue. Every day in the morning, I preheat the skillet, put egg ring on the cook surface, put egg in it; cook ham, and toast English at the same time, within 10 minutes, we have our warm, healthy and fast breakfast. Wash the cook surface just need 1 minute, warm soapy water, sponge, Done. Love this product and happy to recommend to friends.

DuraCeramic NOT non-stick
I just bought 6 DuraCeramic nonstick skillets, and one regular teflon skillet to use for food lab use in Family & consumer Science class (Home Ec). All of the Ceramic ones have burn/scorch marks around the element and food sticks more often than not. The ordinary teflon one is super easy to clean and has no marks.
